In 200 years, no one will remember your name
Memories across generations
There are only a few generations and then you will probably be forgotten forever. Or can you still remember your great grandparents? And their parents? The insight “In 200 years, no one will remember your name.” so could indeed be true. Anyways you shouldn’t encourage yourself, but look positively forward in life.
How important is positive thinking?
Positive thinking doesn’t just happen in the head. Those who go through life positively experience a lot more positive emotions and even promote their own health. Because positive thinking strengthens the immune system, while negative thoughts do exactly the opposite. They make you unhappy, depressed and sick.
Positive thoughts, on the other hand, almost inspire you and bring you one step closer to happiness. If you think positively, you let the positive into your life and are more satisfied in the long term. Anyone who thinks negatively pulls themselves – and others – further and further down.
The power of positive thinking
Positive thinking has been shown to activate the immune system and boost self-confidence. In addition, you immediately feel much better. So why are negative thoughts still rolling back and forth in your head? Positive thinking leads to positive experiences!
Those who think positively are often more creative in solving problems, get sick less often and remain calmer in stressful situations. It has even been scientifically proven that our brains release serotonin through positive thinking and thereby create a better mood. The oxygen supply is better and we are fitter – mentally as well as physically.
