The European Capital of Culture and UNESCO City of Media Arts combines modern art and historical sights. From the central main square with the Trinity column you can reach the numerous sights. You should have a look e.g. at the New and Old Cathedral and the “Feichtingerhaus”. The so called “Linz Castle”, which now houses a museum, towers high above Linz in the middle of the old town.

The Danube bank is not only an ideal place for cycling, running and hiking, but also a hotspot for art and culture. Here you will find the Brucknerhaus, where first-class concerts take place Furthermore you will see the Ars Electronica Center, and the the ‘Museum of the Future’ with varied exhibitions on the subjects of art, technology and society.
